Do sitting requirements make a Howell difficult when you have a half table.
This a useful movement to avoid a long sit out with a half table.
Rover Movements used to be quite popular 20 years ago but seem to have gone out of fashion.

Movement for 5½ Tables

Four boards per table, twenty in play.
Everybody plays 18 except Rover who plays 20.
When scoring remember to Factor down the Rover score
Roving pair 11
EW add 5 Normal Mitchell movement, Boards clockwise ,pairs anticlockwise.,
Board numbers below are just a check

Round 1 Table 1 boards 1-4
Rover displaces NS for two boards and then EW for second two

Round 2 Table 3 boards 13-16
Rover displaces NS for two boards and then EW for second two

Round 3 Table 5 boards 5-8
Rover displaces NS for two boards and then EW for second two

Round 4 Table 2 boards 17-20 Rover displaces NS for two boards and then EW for second two

Round 5 Table 4 boards 9-12
Rover displaces NS for two boards and then EW for second two

Movement for 3½ Tables

Six boards per table, 18 in play everybody plays 15 except rover who plays 18.
When scoring by hand remember to factor down the Rover score
