(1) Showing
at least 5/5 in the black suits
(2) I’ll
show my hearts on the way to 4/5 Clubs or 4 Hearts
(3) After 5 minutes of “does this show a 6
card suit, oh well she’ll probably
bid again over 4C”
(4) I have no idea what’s right, lets go for game these two have
being doing their best to talk us out of contracts.
Ace
of diamonds ruffed
Ace
of spades
Small
spade, ducked by west, the 10 wins!
Second
diamond ruffed
Small
club to Ace
Exit
with small heart, won by East’s Jack
King
of Spades is ruffed and over ruffed with Queen
Diamond
return won by King
Ace
and a small heart which is won by East’s third trump, clears the trumps
leaving declarer with a trump and a club winner.
The
defence only won three trump tricks. Once the Ace of Diamonds is lead I'm fairly sure that the contract is safe but not on Declarers line.
The
other pair were both Grand Masters and quite well known It says a lot about some of the people who play Bridge that they
thought the whole affair hilarious and complimented my Partner on keeping a straight face when the 10 of Spades held.
